Deliciuos vegan burger with falafel, hummus sauce and kohlrabi fries. Easy to make with all the easily accessible ingredients from your local grocery store.
Ban & Garnish
– Summer Crisp Lettuce
– Flax seed oil / Olive oil
– Sunflower seeds
Mix all the ingredients in a mixer till the content is smooth enough. Shape then a burgers from the mixed mass in required size. There are two options how to continue. You can fry it on a pan or you can bake it in an oven. In my case I chose baking. I placed parchment paper on the baking sheet and added flax seed oil. Don’t forget to cut a bigger piec of parchment paper, as we will also use it for fries.
Cut the kohlrabi to pieces, spice it up and leave it for 45 minutes to get rid of surplus water. After this time empty the water and place the fries on the oiled parchment paper together with the burgers, put it into a preheated oven (200 °C) and bake it for approximately 30 – 45 minutes.
This step is very simple. Just put all the ingredients in a mixer and mix it.
Cut the ban in a half and spread sauce on both pieces. Place the burger and vegetables on bottom piece of the ban in order you want and cover it with top piece of the ban.
